Raphium Series~Brother

 
Little rebellion inside my soul
hoping to escape my troubles
Worrying the sky
his blue is tormented
 
Child of the day swims sideways
there is a cap on the air
I am grounded
 
So moving left to right
travel the winds
Finding the desert jubilation
and like a colt run free
expending energies too painful
 
Seeking sanctuary  
immortal honesties  
are too dreadful for me
Sympathy for the devil surely
understanding of the creator?...perhaps
 
Anger rushes through my veins
simmering under the surface
I hear Wisdom on the wavelengths,  
hear his stirring  
 
Lucifer questions will you fight with me?
 
my brother believes if I stand
the old man will topple
 
I ask again am I a coward?
 
numbing my pain
and avoiding the question
