From my own previous experiences seeing and working daily with domestic violence victims, there's sometimes a huge need for taking a sense of power back from an abuser, often by any means one might feel is necessary.... That's the he sense I get from this piece....
It's a message that is stark, yes.....yet it's deeply valuable in it's poetic efforts in highlighting the struggles and the ongoing plights of those who have been through things most of us probably couldn't even imagine...
