The smile

Decemberís holding on to the cold
With that thought I shiver
It haunts my dreams
Creeping in I did not expect
The only thing he did was smile
Like everything was fine

The year passes
Heís with another now
Keeping that same smile plastered
Taunting me with perfection
I shiver
Like everything was cold
I find him on the floor once more
Crouched in a corner
Tears glistening
He senses Iím watching and spares me a glance
And then he smiles
