Self despair

In shadows of a troubled mind, I roamed,
Lost and adrift, in a world unknown.
But amidst the chaos, a glimmer I found,
A flicker of light, on uncertain ground.

Through the darkness, I sought my way,
Guided by whispers, to a brighter day.
Yet lurking nearby, the devil did creep,
A smoke-filled menace, disrupting my sleep.

In the depths of despair, I faced my hell,
A battle of pain, that no words can tell.
But through it all, a faith did ignite,
A connection to God, shining so bright.

With divine grace, my wounds began to heal,
The smoke cleared, revealing what's real.
In the crucible of pain, I discovered my might,
Transformed from the darkness, into radiant light.

No longer lost, I found my true path,
Embracing the lessons of love's aftermath.
For within the depths of our darkest hour,
Resides the strength to reclaim our power.

So I will rise, from the ashes I've known,
Embracing the light, no longer alone.
In the dance of existence, I'll forever remain,
Transformed by my struggles, never the same.
