No place like home

In the hills up high, I stand alone,
Lost and searching for a place to call my own.
My life feels heavy, burdened with strife,
Missing my kids, longing for their light.

No one to shield me, no one to hold,
In this vast emptiness, my heart feels cold.
Questions arise, pondering God's plan,
Is this my destiny, to wander in this land?

But amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope,
Whispering gently, helping me to cope.
For every trial, there's a purpose unknown,
Guiding me through the wilderness I've known.

Though I may feel distant, my spirit in despair,
God's love surrounds me, reminding me He cares.
In solitude, strength grows, I find my way,
Through these hills, I'll rise again someday.

For life's path is winding, and trials we face,
But in the depths of loneliness, we find grace.
So, I'll keep moving forward, with faith as my guide,
Knowing that one day, my children will be by my side.
