Glass Blown Anger
People don't see the sadness
Hidden within this rage of mine
Glass heart glowing white hot in the flame
Spinning just to keep myself upright
Behind this mental wall of flame and anger
The fire in my eyes evaporates the tears
No one wants to get close to look through
They love me I know but they can't see
They can't seem to see what's wrong in me
I learned so very long ago to hide here
But I'm struggling with this loneliness
Even when I try to explain my heartache
That this molten pain cools to glass fragility
It always comes out broken and sharp
Speaking fracturing all that I try to tell them
And never it is never quite what I mean to say
