Rule 6

you are my Master dominating hope
I seek you in the morning light
rules are set I will not trespass

two mockingbirds say you will not relent
they comment on my state of unrest
saying get a grip, get a grip

stirring my coffee your reflection rises as steam
I am all nerves and jitters waiting for you to call
jangled thoughts rise to the surface
I contemplate them with nervousness
turning them over in my mind
wondering how much to tell you

I seek solace from the warm rays
lighting on my face connecting me to the air
here I can breath

your commanding presence calls me back
so stoic and powerful
I am so small

I sink within myself all thorns
you tell me talk to you
in my loneliness I utter daisies

do you really want to know?

Raven is angry
desiring to be heard
tiny thoughts are dismissed as taboo
they grow into shadows that devour
clouding all else
until my blue sky is grey
