Poem
tongues of moonlight
lay across the damp
grass in my
backyard
like God's mouth forebiding Eve
the first bit of that
succulent
apple
this is the way we
will save the
world
no wonder I hate
the smell of
night
where the wings of
angels taste
of cotton
candy
and their eyes
rage with
sodomy
