Silence
The silence is so loud
It's ringing in my ears.
It lives inside my head
And knows all my fears.
Inside my head it's loud
And there's nowhere I can hide.
The darkness keeps coming back
The thoughts of suicide.
How do I stop it
From driving me insane?
How do I stop feeling
All this pain?
Silence isn't golden
And it isn't nice.
I would rather live with noise
Than to pay the silent price.
It's ringing in my ears.
It lives inside my head
And knows all my fears.
Inside my head it's loud
And there's nowhere I can hide.
The darkness keeps coming back
The thoughts of suicide.
How do I stop it
From driving me insane?
How do I stop feeling
All this pain?
Silence isn't golden
And it isn't nice.
I would rather live with noise
Than to pay the silent price.
