How Done is Done
Are we really over
How done is done
When every night I lay in bed
Feeling the absents of you next to me
I wake finding myself reaching out for you
To bring you close to me between the sheets
We can’t be finished
We’ve only just started
We spoke of loyalty
of love for none other
spoke of a life lived together
of undying commitment
How can we be over?
How can we be through?
When the smell of you lingers
The taste of you I crave
the phantoms of your fervent touch smoothes
the heat of your body that helps me to remember
that helps me to forget
that disable my mind to reject my bodies needful will
How can this be ending?
No way is this our finale
I touch myself to stop the throbbing
the yearning of overly sensitive skin
Within the folds
thinking only you
Our story is never over
This love affair will never end
In my yearning for you
I reach for the phone that rings in my hand
The caller ID telling me that its you
I smile when you ask to come over
We’ll still not done
How done is done
When every night I lay in bed
Feeling the absents of you next to me
I wake finding myself reaching out for you
To bring you close to me between the sheets
We can’t be finished
We’ve only just started
We spoke of loyalty
of love for none other
spoke of a life lived together
of undying commitment
How can we be over?
How can we be through?
When the smell of you lingers
The taste of you I crave

the heat of your body that helps me to remember
that helps me to forget
that disable my mind to reject my bodies needful will
How can this be ending?
