September Harvest

sun-warmed peach
draped in fine fur
ambrosial fragrance

first bite
sharp teeth piercing vulnerable skin
nectar dripping down chin

amber flesh slipping past tongue
sticky sweet-tart aftertaste
incites desire

hungering craving
yearning for another
heavenly kiss
