what appears
as space
emptiness
is full of air
oxygen nitrogen
carbon dioxide
noble gases
water vapor
sometimes
bitter taste of ash
with each intake empty lungs fill
each inspiration
transformative
composition
different
on exhalation
less oxygen
more carbon dioxide
still air yet different
each breath
transforming us
and the atmosphere
as space

The discoverer of oxygen was a Unitarian minister called Joseph Priestley, he would probably agree with this one.
