shaking the cotton from my mind
and seeing things truly deep

it is with a watchful eye I take note
of the passing of seasons
learning in the moment life's lessons

stirs the dawning inside me
we leave intricate circles in one another's life
we touch each other so intimately as to change the outcome of fate
weaving shared existence with others

a smile leads to happiness in another
which provokes a good deed from a mother
a father is content
a child is loved

keeping in rhythm with my soul's fate
I take each step with purpose
intended paths to cross

every day mindful
I might meet you in a waiting room
in sync with synchronicity
that special touch
that sweet smile
lifting someone else up

time is precious
we touch who we are meant to
it's up to us to make that meaningful
changing someone's day
lifting them out of the blue

melancholy has her way
but it is important to remember our impact
