listless
internal ache lonely abyss
listless day be quiet
I can bear no more
I am in the void
a place so volatile my thoughts collide
crashing upon my blue shore
a battle of sorts ensues
my mind grapples with reality
the delusion so much easier to bear
hurt in revelations
keen in parables
platitudes do well in the moment but don't last
what stays is regret
within the broken soul
there are meaningful moments
that leave a lasting impression
sorrow weaves its presence through me
and I left with a hole
realizations dawn and I am angry
for the dawn robbed me
cold feeling in the emptiness
the day is lifeless
that sees my tears
they fall on the dead too

It's horrible what you're going through. Such a raw read. I feel the pain through your words but don't have the right words, I'm sorry. When you suggest 'the world feels too quiet', it's a real choker.

From dim moon-dells they came,
bringing herb smoke in crimson vehicles,
their holy quake flickerings stir the equinox clouds,
droplets of dreams settling on valley moments
maraud among the factory cattle
whose bells on the hillside play
Stygian tunes with twilight tendrils...
It was there that I found you
(yes, you, and not all of the other
imaginary her's that populate these
ambling poetic excursions),
listless and confused
