To My Dear

You used to take me out in your fancy car,discovering new places.
Used to kiss underneath the rain,healing eachother's pain.
Used to sing along while you play guitar,saying my name.
 
Using my name in the song,describing me as a flower.
And you would be my bee
And I would be with you,no matter what you say or what you do.
 
Because when I'm alone,I'd rather be with you.
And time passed,it's true.
But even though these times are gone,you are still you.
 
Talking as you shower me with affection.
Giving hugs and kisses whenever I'm sad.
For you're the best person I've ever had.
 
You lifted up my spirits when I was sad.
And you talked to me when everyone else was gone,
Listened to me vent when something was wrong.
 
And I did the same for you the best I can,
Thinking as I write this poem.
With butterflies in your stomach as you read.
 
And you may have noticed I write a lot of love poetry lately.
But this reveals my true self.
Even if most of this is not a true experience,it shows how much I need love.
 
And the person I write this about makes this feeling disappear,
No matter are they really here.
And I hope you know I love you very much.
 
For I will never find anyone else like you.
No,i would never.
Because you are one of a kind,my dear, let's be in our lives forever.
 
And this poem is getting very long.
I hope you don't understand my words wrong.
For it took me time to write all of this.
 
And to rephrase each little sentence.
As i write this, please have acceptance.
I mean each little word in this sentence.
