Good question - when chip implants in the brain start to be done to enhance mental capabilities, will that cross the line?

Likely: IF somebody else can also control such implant from a distance and thus control you..........

No doubt it will be 'sold' to the general public as a one-way benefit for the user, but you can be sure it will be a two-way system and hell knows what that can do the 'implanted' person. I find self-driving cars spooky and scary enough, but self-driving people linked to a centralised 'GPS' system?

There's some sort of incredible short story to be penned from this. Ya. I was thinking just the same. Maybe the nurse who assisted the doc, knew all the tricks and hated this particular patient found a way to maybe drive him insane or XYZ....
