coddling the thorns that pierced the soul
soothing the corpse with a trinket of tongue
as the widow grows pale neath the veil
laying waste to the rising storm's chowder
seduced by the shadows of the Pharisees
exploring the depth of delirium aphrodisiac
in Twilight's twisted lace of poetic seduction
