The Bustle Pin

Climbing the stairs of seduction,
"hickory, dickory, dock,"
a flight of stairs in memoirs
spiraling beneath the armoire.
In the twilight on the veil
listening to the widow's breath
from the grave's loneliness.
"Hickory, dickory, dock,"
touching the bustle pin,
a trembling rose genitalia.
