One day, we’ll meet again

One day, I’ll see everyone who crossed my path in life
I’ll meet my friends, foe and those who I encountered along the way
I’ll see everyone at a table somewhere
Talking about the good, bad and ugly
Laughing at the fun we had in this world
Even drowning out the sorrow we had
Reminisce the pains we all had in this world
Even talk about good we’ve all done
Also the bad things we’ve all done
All our mistakes are laid bare on the table for us to remember
As we all wonder where we are going next and what we will be doing
We’ll all wonder what opportunities we missed
What we should and could have done better
We we could have done to better ourselves
Even prepare ourselves for the next chapter
It’s why, one day, I’ll see all those who came with me
Who took me along this journey of life
Meet them at the table where, they waiting for me to come over
But for now, I’ll wait for the day when I can see them at the table
Cause I know they have a spot waiting for me and they are watching for me from above.
