I find the poem cuts through the crap at several levels - neat, nice. I read recently that about 1-in-10,000 bullets manufactured kills someone - which is great for the profit-line of bullet manufacturers, though in a crude aspect highly inefficient (imagine being able to sell 10,000 washing machines and have it accepted that just one of them works). Though that 1-in-10,000 is no less tragic and devastating when it does ('work'). I can sort of understand the American obsession with the right to bear arms, but it never seems to solve anything or make the world a better place. The war-mongering psychos who run the world always seem to stay on top. And welcome to DUP. Best regards, Josh.
I too can't wrap my mind around the reasoning of a person who commits or even wishes to commit such carnage. There has to be thought patterns which have been twisted due to nature or nurture. Humans, since their existence, have strived to invent ways to kill quicker, easier, and with less endangerment to themselves. The fact that these weapons are available to the general public is nothing short of asinine.
