An aching awakens somewhere from within the void  
Breaking through the planes of restraint and nuanced decorum  
A voracious desire  
Reaches the surface  
Rising in expectation  
          Breathless and zealous  
With a passionate enthusiasm that spreads like wildfire  
 
And it seems that amidst the dreams and fantasies  
     An uncontrolled longing lingers languidly  
Listlessly  
Like lulls lilting  
Lustfully  
Yet somehow delightfully tormenting  
     Drowning in the ecstasy  
 
One does dare to fantasize  
Romanticize the signs of courtesies and pleasantries  
     With added pageantry  
          In the parade of stimulating acts that spiral quickly  
Like exquisite chaos  
Stirring  
The aching consumes little by little  
     Until it’s embedded permanently in the heart  
 
GO…  
 
Underneath the stillness and silence  
There is a commotion that rages like colossal ocean waves  
Thundering across the vast expanse of creation  
 And into the depths of the psyche  
The core  
The soul  
Admiring the beauty in the horizon for an impossible tomorrow
