Writer's Promise

I’m afraid of what I’m becoming.
Of this obsession with my thoughts
And writing them for other people to see.

My friends told me to make videos and share what I write.
I’m terrified to simply write these,
But one day I’ll summon the courage to show you this.
Maybe it’s today,
Maybe it’s weeks or months from when I write this
But i want to resonate with people,
For them to feel their soul when they peek into mine.

For that, I promise
Obsession is warranted.
