What Lies Beneath Her Ink

nightly i inhaled
your sweet lyrical ether
the vaporized ink
of your unrelenting scripture
opened the senses
strengthening connections
sensitizing me to your deepest desires
and now we telegraph thoughts
through slanted eyes
smoldering with silent intent
ready to confess..
commune...confide
as lovers and passing strangers
mysterious beings full of ideas
come paint your poetry
on me in neon colors
illuminate the unexpressed
cover my bare chest
in your flaming reds and moody blues..
as you spread yourself generously
with fingers swirling..
arms curling..
it's love unfurling..
in so many hues..

use me..
appraise me worthy of your muse
let's take our familiarities
into the unknown..
making love like we just met
like we'll never meet again
as we delve into murky emotional seas
where we shelve our civilized selves..
and move with those lurking carnivores
forever peeking..
creeping behind longing eyes..
carnoisseurs of an unseeming passion
uncaged..totally engaged.
acknowledging how our love can travel
through many shades
recite for me those elements
under the canopy of your soul
in that i may reciprocate
them accordingly

you spoonfed me the taste of irony
as my sable sought to
unveil your masterpiece
for in seeking you
you have conjured my depths...
the strokes beneath your words
crept into my mental
trickled down my esophagus
cradled my soul
left behind a misty rainbow
of emotions 'pon me
felt your nuances echo
through my chamber of peering shadows
exposed my innermost man
etched porous skin
i wear you now
as my hidden hieroglyph
heir to secret thoughts unbirthed
loins pledged to cast in colors cultivated
by your inquiring quill
and tis here
i gift you the skeleton key to my eros
to keep in sacred trust..
from pen to parchment
from dark to light
from man to woman
we manifest magnificence in tones of
the multifaceted us
