Bleeding Inferno.

I bet you're sipping your sweet tea,
as she rubs your shoulders.
The farthest thing from your mind is me,
as my heart grows ever colder.

You know I'm sucking down gasoline fumes,
as my lighter flicks to life across my shirt.
I desperately wish you'd rescue me from this room,
or prove to me my worth?

Even if you did, I'd be mopping up my tears,
because I know you'd drag her along.
I surrender to the flame and all my fears,
bleeding sweet fire while the lighter drops.

My combustible veins trickle out ever slowly,
and it seems I'll never die.
If you were to rush in to me right here, right now,
you couldn't save me if you tried.
