Shedding layers

She shed her clothes
Peeling layer after layer
As if so many coats of her personality
She shed her clothes for one man after another
Ever looking for love and to be loved

Looking for love seemingly with the wrong crowds
In the wrong places
From boardrooms to backrooms
No qualms, no shame as she sucked their juice out
No qualms, no shame as they penetrated her many orifices

She did not mind having to shed her clothes
And serve her husband's boss
Right in her marriage bed
So he could get his raise

But she felt insulted when the man
Left two hundred dollars on the night stand
She felt he was treating her like some cheap whore

''What?  It's just a gift, my dear, he said,
Kissing her gently and knotting his red tie
Saying good-bye to Jim on his way out.

She could not help herself.
She loved the man
The way he made her inners vibrate
How he so deliciously bit here and there
Made her moan and stifle screams

Still, she felt insulted
And would find a suirtable way
To let him know.
