The Dance of Life

The dance of life? A fleeting race.  
Love's tender touch? A whispered grace,  
Endings lurk in a shadowed death.  
Our hearts short-lived. Our loves soon fade.  
To death we carry all that we’ve made.  
Until we find our final breath.
