Dreams of Sleep

Moonlight shimmering in gleam
Goodnight withering in dream
My eyes awake, it all goes dark

Silver highlights to learn
River jackknifes in turn
The sky partakes to flow in spark

So long
The night is gone
A new dawn
Yawn in song

As I awake
In this new day
To partake
In life's embrace

I shall see
What may be
To think of sleep
And dream of me
