The Mandrake Dragon

Took my imagination, out for a stroll
Like a demonically possessed young child's doll
Came across some mead, filled up in a flagon
Twas there i encountered, the Mandrake Dragon

It flapped its wings, And blew its flames at me
It shrieked as loud, as a screaming Banjee
Instead of claws, it had flailing flowers
Poisonous to the touch, with teeth to devour

Ghostlike in appearance, like an evil Manitou
As down from the darkened skies it flew
Its eyes were a deep fearsome firey red
And a roar so loud, to awaken the dead

I stood there frozen, in terror, and fear
As this dark fearsome creature, began to draw near
It then swallowed me whole, in the dark of the night
My heart gave way, as i died from the fright

My ghost now wanders, lost, and alone
As the terror now chills me, right through to the bone
I now scream like a Banjee, in my wayward travails
As i wander the earth, within my own hell
