this promise i made, i swear to keep
even if these poems are all i can speak
to reach across the void i leap
in order to show i am more than just feats
though that i wish that we could meet
to show you that i am yours to keep
to run your hunger across my chest
fill your lips with all i miss
and speak truth to Love i still hold
find a path in hopes that we can hold
each other close, and never let go
i keep writing poetry so i can show
-i can be yours, you need only ask
