Give Her Peace

Watching her fall apart
I cry because I need her back
Her body shakes as the cancer attacks

It's hard to see her go through this
She's my mom, the one I adore
Watching her slowly deteriorate
My tears fall to the floor

Screaming out to GOD,
GIVE HER PEACE
Please make her suffering go away

I can't stop this freight train
Oh what I'd give to stop her pain
My heart is breaking
I'll never be the same

I haven't seen my mother battle cancer yet, but my dad had it briefly and I've had several family members lose their battles. I won't be so arrogant to think I can take the pain away, but if you ever need help processing, please feel free to us me as a resource.
