The end draws near
As the end draws nearer,
Things once loved become neglected,
All disdain aversions are pushed aside,
Pride is humbled,
In the calm before the storm,
The deep breath
Before the plunge,
The cat saved, wants more security,
It got into the house,
Got into its masters bedroom,
Still yet it desires its masters soft lap.
The sheep astray, desires no guidance,
Far from its herd,
It moves in the wrong direction,
The Sheppard calls on,
The lioness, disguised in the grass,
Looks on...
As the end draws nearer,
Those with mistakes refuse to correct it,
Matters not settled remain unsettled,
More is still said than done,
But the end draws nearer,
By the day, the hour,
the minute, the second,
And the end draws nearer,
Concealed.
