Waking Nightmare
Sleeping peacefully
Napping
Needing to re-energize
Happy I could take this time
When suddenly
Half asleep
I think
This pressure on top
Presses down upon me
On my very being
Whispering
Indistinct whispers
And deep growls
An Incubus perhaps???
Moaning in my ear
I hear
Panick arising
Not understanding
Frozen in fear
Until finally...
I wake fully...
Was it just a dream??
Or just a waking nightmare?

Yeah... That's how it felt. Like a melt and blurr of reality. Not necessarily a childhood memory, this is something I experienced a few years back. Never thought I would be sharing some of my thoughts on it haha. Glad you enjoyed, seems like the message is getting across well💜
