Deadly Thoughts
Me: tell them. They need to know you're depressed.
Depression: don't tell them. You're only going to get more depressed when you realize they don't care. Better fight it alone.
Reason: you may win a lot of battles against depression but you won't win them all.
Me: I'm strong enough.
Depression: I am patient. I only need to win one battle.

Really great piece because depression is like a living enemy, that is simply awaiting the opportunity to attack. Those internal wars weaken our defenses and eventually allows the attack to happen. Tight

Crimson, I appreciate your comment. It’s important for us not to feel alone in this daily battle. That is one of the reasons I posted this poem.

Wow you nailed this piece on the money... depression is real and I've been through it. With the love and support from family and friends it help some fight against it... but with the power of Faith and prayers it gave me extra strength to pull through... great ink Kunoichi!
