Blooming In Bloomsbury!

In August
I'm off to North Wales
But stopping off in a hotel
In Bloomsbury
Londinium
For one night
Was just checking the underground (as in trains!)
To Euston
Whereupon i espied
That shoulds't i dally awhile
Remaining in my carriage for six
Further stops
I'd be in Highgate
And could consider  'The Cemetery'!
Venturing into a spectral portal
Whence i could'st abandon
My gathered wits
Remove my clothes
With a joint in one hand
And a bottle of claret
In t'other
Screech like a Banshee
And do the dance Fandango!
Thankfully
I regathered my wits
And decided upon
Visiting the British Museum
Or something of that ilk
Being sober, and dressed
And save the gallavanting
For when the skies
Commence to close their eyes
And welcome in the twilight
Cover myself in a rainbow of paint
Thence venture out naked
Thus inadvertently
Become a latter day
Bloomsbury set copycat
Meow!
