I am what I look like, I am what I wear
I am what I do, I am what I say
I am what I feel, I am what I felt
I am the trauma and the pain
I am the patterns of my brain
I am the patterns of my feelings
I am the pattern of my believing
I am the patterns
I am my patterns
I am my patterns
I will not dare change my ways
I've finally found steady days
I've made peace with my pain
If I change I'll go insane
I'm safe and familiar with what I know
And I'll stay right here where its safe

Author's Note
Most people I come across in life identify with their pain and trauma. Releasing themselves from it means a freedom that is too great for them to bare, and so they live in their patterns of pain because at least there they've found a comfortable pattern.

And yet.... We are none of those things all the same. An external being separate from our internal state. Something that will go back to the Earth. We ARE THESE things but only as long as the external world allows. Titles, is what these are... meant to help ground us to this reality. Our internal state reflects what we see in our external state.
