Vinyl Umbrella

When i was very young,
i wandered around the candy store
for a few hours
in the evening,
came back home
i opened a small drawer
of a cupboard in kitchen
i heard the sound of coins hitting
between the chopsticks and spoons
i took a chair and climbed up on
i bowed head and looked into it
they were coins that mother had collected
but the time for mother to come
to house was still far away
outside friend was still waiting for me
i took courageous
i picked up a coin
then i wrote my name on a small piece of paper and
put it in the drawer,
"your son took a coin"
we ran to the store and
bought two candies
watching the back of joyful friend
i also came home and fell asleep
i woke up feeling mother's hand
shaking me
in father's hand was a vinyl umbrella
father said,
"If you take money without permission,
even if you reveal your name who took it,
it is like stealing"
mother whispered,
"Three-year-old habit goes until eighty."
at night long,
i was sick with calf
my parent wouldn't sleep
because their heart ached
and since then
i have never even thought about stealing
or trying to steal
Money in any way.
