families shook with scary
they couldn't see each other
because of eyelight in mask
watched corners of home
"what? This is house?"
murmuring
"here is no
take away something
so I take away"

that the young child
cut finger
and disappeared quietly
after a week,

food service expense,
insurance money
father's planned act
made country to sea of tears.
