From the Diary of a Madman's Hopper
in the prohibition of an obsidian demitasse
touched by the withers of raven-crow
molting at my inner sanctums portal
in the shadows of Potters Field, gloaming,
kicking at the coffin's stepladder
a ballast keeping my memories afloat
with a darker side, a bottle of drink
reaching for the Libertine Gunga Gin
poetry cries, granite stones buried deep
chipping away bones of the friar's square chin
petrified petals spilling air devils at my feet

I appreciate that. I just find more truth on the dark side of my words. At times, I am too quick to pull the trigger, but I am not afraid to use my imagination.
