Solar Ode - NaPoWriMo2023 #9
Oh how I have missed the wonderful Sun,
that shines above
and around
that shines above
and warms all around
and you and me
and for all to see.
The joy within my heart
for the Sun and shine has returned
with elation at the sensation
as if Beethoven's 'Pastoral'
is merrily plucking at my heart strings.
What more can I say?
For I embrace the day
for the Sun has returned
and Spring truly feels to have sprung,
that oh so wonderful Sun.
