The Velvet Sky
Dusk fell
Quickly, and heavily
As a fluttering of an eyelash
As day passed peacefully
Into the early twilight
Other than a glancing shard
Like Odin's Spear, Gungnir
Momentarily
Glancing off
The Goddesses of the skies
Then twilight day, passes into twilight night
And the sky
Turned velvet
