Words so tender
Mind full of surprises
When we first started talking
You caught my attention
Like a magnet you attracted me
Like glue I was stuck on you
Its nice to know I'm on your mind
Even though were far apart
If it was destin to be we will make it come true
Only God knows what both our futures hold
Which paths we choose to go
Talking to you I can do all night
Because we never run out of the spotlight
We both make eachother laugh
Because we both have a goofy side
Its weird how I feel like a teen inside
Like high school replaying when we conversate
A lot in common is that good or bad
I guess well find out when the time has come

The feel of this poem is wonderful---not too mushy or filled with fantasy. (which is easy to do with someone you have only talked to) I like the classification of the other person as a friend, which suggests that there is something going on besides eros.

I think pretty much anyone who's spent time on the internet can relate to this. The beginning stage up to when you meet always seems magical and perfect. Not always great afterwards, but until then innocence is bliss.
