In France Macron is facing a non-confidence vote
For his wish to push the retirement age by a few more years.
In Germany old people manage with difficulty on crumbs thrown their way
In Canada we are at age 65 though early retirement is possible
UBS just bought Credit Suisse for 3.2 Billions after, we are told,
Much very difficult haggling.
Billions.
But the system won't stop squeezing the poor sucker
To death.

the thought of 69 year old firemen climbing the ladder to drag people out of the building is slightly disconcerting ..

As one commentator around here pointed out, if you are a paper pusher, no problem sitting around a bit longer. I m with you here: retirement age also has must have to do with your occupation. PS: perhaps it is the same in your area: around here those with such jobs as police, firemen ec....and pushy government jobs get nice retirement packages after 20 years service. Many then go on to other nice jobs after to add nice supplements. Regards, Robert.
