Y’know my head just reduced this whole poem down to those two words: everything falls. And if you stripped the rest of the entire poem away, that’s still the two words I would take from this.
The lesson in that is multi-dimensional.

Dear B,
Imagine that. Succumbing to that powerful touch such that the rush of it incapacitates. Absolutely marvelous. Never experienced it but can imagine its power. Wonderfully intense write.

Then that's what I'll be manifesting into the universe for you, Hon.
A touch that takes you down. Makes the steel in your spine melt, and your reservations drop like lead balls.
It's a mindfuck. But oh... (sigh)... such a sweet one.

This write is screaming for an explanation. Well I hear it anyway.
It's the "uniform velocity" part. It overwhelms the rest. It's the point of the finger, away from the hand.

Re: Re. Critical velocity
OK. this is really badly explained. Any physicist will kick me in the dick for this but...
So objects can only fall with uniform velocity when there is no opposing force. Gravity is a given, and technically everything reacts with the same gravitational pull, but a feather and a brick fall at different rates.
I mean, we all technically fall into the black hole a the same rate.. BUT
It's the drag. The resistance. A brick creates less air velocity than a feather, and therefore appears to fall faster. Its velocity has less resistance but the force of gravity is a given in the universe. It's undisputed.
To fall at a uniform to gravity means...
There's no resistance.
A touch turns a feather to a brick.
And it all falls. Instantly.
I appreciate your read and your inquiry.

Holy shit! That was awesome!
I know that stuff. But your explanation is super better. Maybe it's the skirt...

I am on SPRING FUCKING BREAK this week, so I haven't been in a skirt or dress in days.
I wore 90s overall shorts and drove down A1A with my bestie belting out Mr. Brightside with the windows down once it finally got warm enough to leave the house. (It's PI day so we had to get pizza and apple pie.)
Professor Betty is on BREAK baybee.

Crim, I really adore you. I really do. My sweet love, I'd take you up on that, lust is sort of like Betty Bait... but I'd rather touch your soul. It's the most beautiful part of you, darling.

I've always stated that short poems tend to deliver more in their brevity, not just for it's openness for interpretation but in also depth.
Wonderful work.

Thanks man. I’m one or the other, it’s either a tome or 50 words.
I’m glad you dig it.
