Sparrows & Squirrels

Squirrels and sparrows
Sparrows and Squirrels
All playing in the field
Climbing through the trees
Rustling through the leaves
Yes I love them all the same
What a sight
They play here before me
A memorable moment
For my eyes only to see
Birds flocking with there friends and family
Such a simple life
No cares in the world
No need for strife
Oh to be a sparrow or Squirrel
Yes, this is what fascinates my psyche so

Author's Note
One day while I was out at this large local park near my neighborhood. I couldn't help myself but be enamoured by all the sparrows and Squirrels running and flying around. I just krept as close as I could and couldn't help but stand and watch them play in there natural state. That's when,  this poem came to mind in that moment. I fell in love, and my heart for these simple creatures only grew bigger.
