Fear can be

Fear can be a poweful weapon or a devasting demise,
It can stop us where we stand,
erase the finish line before our eyes,
often it comsumes like wildfire devouring anything in its path,
But, sometimes fear can be a motivation, and even make us laugh.
As hard as it may be, and with fears that can overwhelm,
Remember dear one, that fear doesn't deserve the helm!
Fear can be so brutal, taking us apart, bit by bit,
It can make you feel like you're drowning, it can cause a mental fit,
One doesn't have to understand the fear of another,
All one needs to do is be kind to their sister or brother!
A gently spoken word can do amazing things to calm a soul that's a mess,
And you may never know how much just a smile can bless!

Take the time to slow down and see,
All the broken people, how sad some can be,
And then give them a smile, or even a hello,
And watch the transformation start to show!
We all have the ability to love on each other,
So let us stand in love, every son, daughter, father and mother!
 
There's always a light, even in the darkest of dark, don't give up the fight, hold on to your spark!
