A second poem inspired by the approaching birth of a friend’s first child. I'm almost envious of the purity in her love but could never have lived her life of discipline.

Like the beautiful mixing of musical metaphors. Favourite phrase - "she carefully placed his tightened bow against her strings". (Felt my own bow tighten just then LOL.)
