through my eyes

Forget the mirror on the wall
You've become so dependent
On that mirror, which claims to
Understand you. Calling you out
Saying your not a Man...

Look into my eyes and I'll be that
Mirror, for I see the pain in your
Pride, I see the love hidden in your
Eyes, I know your not satisfied--
Opwn your heart, let me in, stop
Fighting...

You fall on your knees; here we
Are again, going through this rise
And fall; saying that this mirror is
Your only friend-- so then what
About me? You say I don't understand;
That I've never been by your side...

Hold up, wait a minute; look me
In the eyes and I'll reflect what
It is you try to hide.
I see you, see the truth in your
Lies; I see you on your knees begging
To heal these scars that put you to shame.

Well you know what I'm done waiting.
Ima give you all my love; and take you in
My arms I see your soul, I see the Man
That you can be...

I'll be that mirror on the wall and show
You love, and let you see the real Man
You deserve to be.
