Tame

The whipping wind
is a clamorous opposition
of the soft seducing breeze.
We are just trying to contain peace
in our hearts
in a brutal world.
Amongst humans hideous actions,
there are beautiful motiveless gestures.
Like thorns on a rose,
The ignorant
polish their own lives.
Along the path of apathy,
can be found great empathy.
Can the gentle tame the harsh?
and then -
I feel it.
The delightful breeze prevails.
The vehemence of the wind fled.
I walk forth......

Infected with kindness.
