sadness wells inside of me
I feel like I'm drowning in agony
it hurts to need so viciously
cruel affections to make me desire

the dark is a comfort to me
it smothers the love that binds me
I ache then punish the feeling
I won't allow sadness to rule
it is an inferior feeling
