For Me

I can't help but to notice,
that my poems aren't very public,
they've no views, and I know this,
it's not like it makes me sick.

My likes are few,
my favorites even fewer,
I don't care what I gotta spew,
to get another viewer.

Because my writing is for me!
Don't you see?
I don't write for to be heard,
that's kind of absurd!

I wrote for me,
to express myself,
it's not a grand prix,
can't a guy show himself?

I don't care what you think,
but if you like it, all the better,
if you criticize, I won't even blink
feel free to write a letter.

I'd dedicate this to a person,
but who would hear it?
This poem, is an orphan,
alone, but for wit.

I believe I've finished now, 
and I bid you a due,
but before I take my bow,
I believe final words are past due.
